Satan Got Hitched

Yesterday was Andy's wedding, and cheesy though it may sound, it was pretty damn cool (and just a bit touching) to see him that happy. I was honored to be his best man, and aside from sweating my ass off while wearing a tuxedo for the first time (no to mention troubles with the waist clasps on the pants), I enjoyed myself. Mom and Dad and Becky were there too, so they've got definitive proof that I DO actually clean up well. The wedding made me kind of nostalgic too; it's hard to believe that it's been 13 years since he and I met as freshmen in college, and I never would have thought at the time that he'd become the best friend I ever had. Kudos to him and Becky, and I wish them all the happiness in their shared future.

And yes, his wife's name is also Becky. She and my Becky are already planning on ways to keep Andy and myself contained and well-behaved--something about "the power of Beckyness," I think it was. Not bloody likely, says I.

Other than that, not much to report. I missed two gigs yesterday due to the festivities, so I'm wondering how those went. Not much on the docket for today except for taking the tuxedos back to the store, and then helping out at the Jaycees foodbooth at the county fair for a few hours.

So there.

I was shocked and amazed to see you in something other than the same shorts and shirt . . . .
