Mellow Vibe in Woodland Park

After having rain/thunderstorms come through the area on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, I was worried that our show last night in Perrysburg would get the same treatment. Not the case, I'm pleased to report...it was a perfect evening for playing music and, in the words of the Honorable Robert Nesta Marley, creating that mellow mood. It's more challenging for me right now, since Rasta isn't with us for a while, but I like to think I'm up to it (and I only made a couple of miscues last night).

Still applying for jobs, too. I put in applications to the University of Toledo, Adrian College, Bittersweet Farms (which sounds like a location reject from Friday the 13th to me), and St. Ursula Academy.

Busy weekend, but in a good way again. Becky and I are going out to dinner with her co-worker and his wife tonight (and she's convinced that he and I are going to misbehave. Such slanderous accusations...), and then we're going diving again on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I think her sister is hitting the water with us on Saturday at Gilboa, which should be cool...she hasn't been to that one yet, and there's a ton of cool stuff to see at 35-foot depth. Becky and Jen both are really turning into natural divers underwater, faster than I did, I think. Jen especially tends to outswim us, except for when she gets bubbles in her wetsuit. :)
