Heat still sucks...and so does not having a job...

Still nothing on the job front, although I put three more apps in the mail yesterday. I'm hoping that, if worse comes to worse, I can get the same three-month job with the United Way that I had last August-September. Problem is that the position wouldn't start until mid-August (and I'm 90% sure I could get it again), and I kind of need money like, well, right now. Honestly, with all the apps I've sent out, I'm starting to wonder if I've somehow put a line in either my cover letter or resume saying that I'm going to set fire to random children. I'd like to think that I'd have had at least a contact by now...

Hell, I even put in an application to Wal-Mart. Yes, yes, I know; they're evil. I tend to agree. But I need money, dammit.

Looking forward to the weekend again at least, though. Aside from spending it with Becky, Saturday is the Ottawa Park gig (which is always a lot of fun...absolutely one of my top five favorite places to play each year), and then Sunday we're going diving again. And I even think I'm getting some of my own gear too. :)
